Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue – Station 106 (Shuswap), more commonly known as RCM•SAR 106 Shuswap, is a devoted team of 25 community volunteers, dedicated to “Saving Lives on the Water”. 

On average, our crews contribute over 4500 volunteer hours each year with Search and Rescue taskings, emergency medical responses, and boating safety awareness initiatives to residents, and visitors alike, who enjoy recreating on the Shuswap Lake system. 

RCMSAR Station 106 Shuswap crew members are not paid –

Crew train throughout the year, both on water and in the classroom.
